Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has declared that NEET UG 2022 will be used to determine admission to the BSc Nursing course in 2022. BHU used to have its own entrance exam for BSc Nursing admissions. BHU, on the other hand, will fill its BSc nursing seats starting this year using the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2022. NTA has released the NEET 2022 admit card has been released. BHU BSc Nursing 2022 through NEET candidates can now download the admit card by visiting the official website of NTA NEET.  

BHU BSc Nursing 2022 is a gateway for admission to a four-year BSc Nursing programme including an internship. The entrance exam will be conducted by the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. BHU BSc Nursing 2022 is a national level entrance exam and candidates can apply for the same online by visiting the official website of BHU, bhu.ac.in/ims/. The national level entrance exam will have questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The entrance exam is conducted in offline mode using pen and paper. IMS BHU offers 75 seats for the BSc Nursing candidates across various categories (General-31, OBC (non-creamy layer) -20, SC-11, ST-06, EWS-07).

BHU BSc Nursing 2022 eligibility criteria are decided by the conducting body Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The eligibility criteria are set up on three parameters, Nationality, Age, and Academic qualification. Below are the criteria:

• Candidates should be an Indian National 
• Candidate should have passed the class or its equivalent from a recognized board or institute with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks (For general candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and 40% for the OBC Non-creamy layer/ SC/ ST.
• The candidate should be 17-years old and not more than 25 years in age, as of December 31, 2022
• The candidate should have qualified NEET 2022

IMS BHU will announce the BHU BSc Nursing 2022 dates of the exam in its official notification which will be released along with the information brochure. The whole admission process, from filling in the application form to counselling, will take place from May to August 2022 (tentatively). Below are the dates for BHU BSc Nursing 2022 events. 

BHU BSc Nursing admission process involves various steps to conclude the whole admission process. The admission process involves the whole procedure to secure a seat via the BHU BSc Nursing 2022 entrance examination. The process involves filling out application forms to attend the counselling and submitting the admission fee. Below are the brief steps of the admission process:

• Registration/Application form filling: Candidates have to provide their personal details, academic details and upload their recent passport size photograph and the scanned image of their signature and submission the application fee to conclude the process. The application window is now open and candidates can apply by August 10. Aspirants have to visit the NTA NEET official website to apply.
• Appear for NEET-UG 2022 Exam: From 2022, IMS BHU will accept the NEET scores to allot admissions into the BSc Nursing course. Once a year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS programs. This year, however, the NEET (UG) 2022 scores may be utilized to gain admission to relevant programmes such as BSc (Nursing) and BSc (Life Sciences). NEET (UG) 2022 will be held in Pen & Paper style in 11 languages, including Hindi and English. The NEET 2022 result is used to fill 100 per cent of UG medical seats in India, including those at JIPMER, BHU and AIIMS. Admission to 15 per cent of all India quota seats is done on the basis of the NEET 2022 all India merit list. The remaining 85 per cent of seats are filled using the state merit list.

• Check Result: The IMS BHU will release the list of eligible candidates in the form merit list.
• Attend the counselling: Candidates have to attend the counselling prior to a personal interview along with the medical check-up. Post the document verification and other formalities, candidates will be allotted the seats as per their merit.
• Fee submission and attending classes: After the seats are allotted, candidates have to submit the admission fee and the tuition fee and have to attend the classes on the prescribed dates. 

BHU BSc Nursing 2022 application form will be made available on the official website of BHU IMS. Candidates have to read the brochure carefully before they begin to fill the BHU BSc Nursing 2022 application form online in order to be aware of the instructions regarding the application form filling process. It is also advisable that the aspirants should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria set by the conducting body, Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. 

Candidates have to provide all the details such as Personal, Academic, Correspondence, Communication etc. in the form. No application will be considered complete without the application fee payment. Candidates must ensure to pay the application fee to conclude the application form the filling process successfully. NTA also provides a correction window to edit any details in the NEET application form.

Before the final submission of the application form, candidates should take at least two printouts of the application form for future reference. The candidates should apply for the BHU BSc Nursing on or before the last date to apply to avoid the rejection of the application. From this year, aspirants have to furnish their NEET scores as well in order to prepare a fair merit list as the BHU Nursing 2022 admissions will be done on the basis of NEET.

BHU BSc Nursing 2022 admit card will not be issued this year for the entrance exam as the admissions will be done on the basis of NEET UG 2022 Scores. There is a possibility that the conducting body will release the admit card to the shortlist candidates who will be invited for the interview cum counselling process. The students will be shortlisted on the basis of a merit list.

The hard copy of the BHU BSc Nursing admit card will be mandatory to carry to the counselling venue and no candidate will be allowed to enter without the admit card. To avoid being late, the candidates are advised to reach the counselling venue or to be available online before the commencement of the process at the allotted time window. Details regarding the counselling venue or time to be followed will be mentioned on the admit card. 

BHU BSc Nursing 2022 result will be announced by the IMS, Banaras Hindu University on their official website, bhu.ac.in/ims/. Candidates will have to log in to the official website using their username and password and then open the ‘BSc Nursing 2022 Result’ from the notice section. In order to check their result, candidates have to submit/search their application numbers. The result will be available on the basis of the merit list and will be published category-wise. Candidates first have to select the category they had applied and to check their result specifically they have to look out for their Roll Number in the result list. The result will be the final result i.e after counselling. To check the individual NEET score, aspirants have to visit the official NTA NEET website. 

BHU BSc Nursing 2022 counselling will be organized by the conducting body, IMS, BHU and all the candidates who will be invited for the counselling process can find their names in the merit list.  Candidates will be asked to carry all relevant documents with them at the time of counselling failure of which may lead to rejection of the seat allotment. BHU will release a list of candidates who will be shortlisted for the counselling process on their official website prior to their respective rounds of counselling. 

Q: When will I get the BHU BSc Nursing 2022 Admit Card?

A: BHU IMS will release the BHU BSc Nursing 2022 admit card at least 15 days before the counselling. As of this year, BHU will conduct admissions to BSc Nursing via NEET scores and hence no separate entrance test will be conducted. It is expected that the conducting body will issue admit cards for the counselling process. No official information has been announced yet.

BHU BSc Nursing 2022 dates for all the events will be announced officially by BHU IMS very soon. In its recent notification released in July, IMS BHU has said that it will grant admissions to the BSc Nursing course using the NEET score form this year. Hence, the BHU will not conduct separate entrance exams for BSc Nursing from now onwards. The BHU BSc Nursing aspirants now have to fill the NEET 2022 application form to appear for NEET 2022 for BHU BSc Nursing. 

NTA has released the NEET 2022 Admit Card on its official website. BHU BSc Nursing 2022 through NEET candidates have to visit the official website of NTA NEET to download their respective admit cards.

BHU BSc Nursing 2022 exam process involves events such as application and registration, issue of admit card, exam, result and counselling. IMS BHU is now expected to announce the release of the complete schedule soon.

Every year, the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the conducting body used to begin the admission process by releasing the prospectus and inviting the application forms. The admission process is usually concluded by the fourth week of September every year. But from this year BHU has announced that it will grant admission to BSc Nursing using NEET scores. Referring to the previous year’s calendar, below are the tentative dates of the various events:

The conducting body will start inviting the BHU BSc Nursing 2022 through the NEET application form from July. Interested candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website of the NTA NEET. The application and registration process will be done online. Candidates have to provide all the necessary details asked to fill in the application form, such as the personal and academic details. Candidates should ensure to pay the application fee to finish the application process successfully. The last date to apply will be till August.

After the successful submission of the application form, the conducting body will release the admit cards via online mode. The admit card will have all the necessary details regarding the candidate and the exam centre and can be downloaded in printable PDF format by visiting the official website of BHU. The admit card for the entrance exam will be released by the NTA and for the counselling, the IMS BHU will release the Admit card separately.

Admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in 2022 will be determined by the NEET UG 2022 exam, according to the university. BHU used to have its own entrance exam for BSc Nursing admissions, which was administered by the University. On the other hand, BHU will fill its BSc nursing seats beginning this year utilizing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2022, which will be administered in September.

The next important event after the result declaration will be the BHU BSc Nursing 2022 counselling. Candidates will be required to report the venue of counselling on the mentioned date and time. Only the shortlisted candidates who will qualify for the national level examination will be invited for counselling and a medical check-up. The counselling and the medical check-up is expected to take place by October.
